Oh, Krista - How I so appreciate your example of "living into the questions," your courageous conversations w/so many wonderful thinkers & sojourners equally committed to develop "muscular hope" in a world wh/so often shouts down such generative thoughts & conversations. Thank you for being such a wonderful light & companion in this fractured world, challenging us to "do justice, love mercy, & walk humbly" w/one another. As I am a middle-aged white woman w/international experience & a strong faith heritage, I appreciate this time of transition for you to "move more lightly into the world" yet not abandon the call to continue to work toward hope & healing w/those who are still willing to collaborate toward such generative goals. I do miss your weekly On Being podcasts (the conversations w/your guests helped me develop my reading list!), but I so grateful for your companionship these past two plus decades, as well as introducing us to Pádraig & Poetry Unbound. Although I do not know that we will meet face to face in this life, know that you (along w/Madeleine L'Engle, Louise Penny, & Robin Wall Kimmerer!) would be among my "dream dinner party" guests! Bon courage et bonne continuation; grace & peace in this season of transition.
Robin Wall Kimmerer is also a dream dinner guest with Suzanne Simard joining. I will also miss the podcasts and books. Stay well and safe. Lovely comment
Thank you for this and for all you have done to share yourself and your wisdom with this troubled world. It is reassuring to know there are so many wise, caring people out there trying to make our world a better place for all. Lynne Deakers, Huntington Beach, CA
You have touched my life so profoundly. So deeply. The inspiration you have made manifest feels so alive in me, even still. Gratitude is too small a word for what you’ve meant to me and to so many in the OnBeing universe. With a deep bow of reverence to you, Krista - as you are outward bound 💙
Krista, I wish you well in your next chapter of On Being however like others I deeply miss your weekly podcasts. You and your guests have truly been my spiritual center since I found you on NPR with Keeping The Faith. Your probing, yet respectful questions spoke for me and I’m sure many of us who contemplate what it means to be human. Having just turned 70, I am grateful that I have had your interviews to guide me, challenge my thinking and more often than not, bring me peace! Thank you!
I have probably learned more about what it means to be human from you and On Being than from any other source. The range and depth of people and topics create a great stew for the evolution of anyone listening. And the central lesson is : love our planet and one another.
Also, bittersweet to hear about closing of longtime studio. Thresholds are often so.
I am grateful that a client brought you to me many years ago when I had to plan my Sundays to listen to On Being. I feel that a light has returned to a world that feels darker than ever before. You bring me hope and inspiration.
Krista, I am so grateful for the important and life giving work you do. All the initiatives you and your team are. involved with is a true blessing. I do miss when you did the weekly podcast. I was wondering if there are any plans to share that podcast space with another host, to follow in the format and spirit of OnBeing?
your words shaped my thoughts and feelings about my threshold time now into higher clarity. its a relief to have that assistance when things are murky and feel turvy; that the support comes in this channel and your spirit of such elevated mutual aid makes it a true gift. really for perfect timing for me today Thank you 🙏
So beautiful that closing down the brick and mortar location was done so reverently. Of course it was. I look forward to staying in touch with On Being, and with you Krista Tippett. You have brought incredible stories and enhanced my ways of viewing the world, and I’m grateful
I noticed that Israel was not included in your interfaith counsel. Was that by design? It seems important to include all the players during this very difficult time as a way to open up a dialogue between people, even if difficult, rather than shut people out.
I had the very same reaction. What a massive missed opportunity —- especially with such an impressive array of other representatives in the Middle East. Very sad.
Like Elsa it doesn’t seem like you’re familiar with the work that On Being has done in the past. Before leaving a kneejerk comment like that, I urge you to explore the archive. They’ve interviewed several Israelis and have hosted dialogue in the past. I hope this helps
Oh, Krista, you have been a guiding star to me for years. It is always reassuring to see you adapt and change - it gives me the strength to continue my own metamorphosis. thank you for all you have done so far and I look forward to seeing how you engage "out in the world". Peace & love to you.

Blessings on all you do, all you share, and all you create. Thank you for being a comforting presence in the spaces we share.
Just a quick thank you and big virtual hug for the whole on being team. Wishing you many more good adventures on the new paths!
